This just about sums up my feelings on school right now. And finals aren't even here yet! Only a few more weeks...

The fruit...

The weather has been just absolutely crazy this spring. We had hot days back in February followed by snow. And it seems like the wind just won't stop blowing. With gusts up to 23 MPH and 46 degrees, it just doesn't feel like spring. And on top of that, there is a frost warning tonight.

My only concern is the local peach orchard where I work in the summer. This frost could kill the trees. But like everything else in this world, we have to put it into God's hands. He knows what will happen. So if y'all could pray for the peach trees, strawberry plants, and all the other farmers that will be affected by this weather that would be great! : ) In the mean time we will leave it up to God and trust his perfect judgement.

Total Procrastinator

So I've been such the good blogger lately. You know things like writing posts on a regular basis and such... NOT...

I've been doing a WHOLE lot of nothing lately to tell the truth. (except school...) I haven't been able to show y'all my new cut glass collection or my thrifting finds. Not to mention the fact that gardening season is about to start up for us. We got the garden tilled up on saturday. It was so wonderful to see the dark brown earth again. OH, and the worms! We found SO many big fat worms; it was unreal. I haven't been able to take any pictures either because my camera isn't cooperating. :(  So here are some random pictures of other people's gardens. :)

Spring Break

Hey Y'all! It's the first day of spring! (officially...) And it is finally starting to warm up!  :D  I went with my family to Texas for spring break this year to visit more family, historical sites, Sea World, etc. We had sooo much fun! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

 

Being red-headed, I always love St. Patrick's day. But today felt different from any other St. Patty's day. This was probable due to the short supply of green garb displayed on campus today. HARDLY ANYONE WAS WEARING GREEN! I saw about 15 people sporting the color. Oh well... Happy St. Patrick's day y'all!

School just won't close...

We've all had those days. Rainy-snowy-sleety-cold-general yuckyness. Today is one of those days. Well, really this whole month, apart from a few sunny days. And we still have to trudge all over campus in this horrid weather. Yes, all doom and gloom.


But there is a bright side! : )  It is Wednesday afternoon. The week is more than half-way over. I am not sick. I don't have any papers or tests for the rest of the week. On top of that, it is almost Valentines Day! I love Valentines Day mainly because of CHOCOLATE! ; ) 


Girls, even if you don't have a date for V-Day, don't fret. You aren't the only one! {Just take me for an example} You don't have to sit around feeling sorry for yourself. Go and have some fun! Hang with your family, sing, dance, read a book, bake, eat CHOCOLATE... The possibilities are just about endless. You don't have to feel sorry for yourself because you don't have a boyfriend. Above all else, Jesus Christ loves you!
